Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR)

Nalas continuously seeks SBIR opportunities with the ultimate goal of commercializing and transitioning innovative technologies developed in-house for production in our Advanced Manufacturing Facility. Our growth since 2010 is largely attributed to the award of several Phase I SBIR research projects in support various DoD agencies, including Navy, Army, Air Force, and Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Technical success achieved during these projects have resulted in numerous transitions to Phase II efforts, and in some cases Phase II Enhancements or a Sequential Phase II program. As a small business, securing longer term Phase II awards allows us to maintain a highly skilled workforce while growing responsibly.
